Happy Birthday to all

This journey began 12 years ago, when Monica Rojas convened Afro-Latinx artists in Seattle to imagine together a space for art, education and community. From that meeting was born a process that continues to grow today.

We are grateful to all the people who have supported MÁS financially and to those who have been part of the board of directors, the workshops, the committees, the events, the conversations, the publications, the podcasts, the pregones and versadas, the cohorts of the youth program, and the dreams we have collectively planted and continue to cultivate.

Han sido años de luchas, aprendizajes, alegría, sanación y construcción colectiva. Más que una organización, hemos sido un hogar para reflexionar, resistir y crear nuevos futuros.

We want to continue to be a safe space to center and amplify black voices. And we invite you to continue to join efforts to make this possible, because without community, there is no resonance.
