About the event

We have titled this 4th series, Territories of Freedom: Testimonies of the Afro Diaspora. will be three online conversations, where Afro communities will star and we will highlight their diversity. We will talk about the different ways in which, as descendants of African@, we have built, sought, maintained and recovered our freedom. We will also focus on different symbolic territories: Afro women and de-racializing processes, Afro-Indigenous alliances. The spiritual world, and Afro Artivism.
They will join us as panelists:
- Evelyne Laurent-Perrault , AfroVenezuelan/Haitian historian of the Afro diaspora
- Ana Gabriela Cano Ortiz (Black Mama) Afro-Ecuadorian Hip Hop artist.
