Rapper Esmeraldeña (Ecuador), her story of resistance comes from realizing the need to raise her voice in a context in which it is not allowed, with her staging she seeks to share an important message for society, but especially for women, through her music she shares a story of struggle, but above all of black resistance.
Her first EP called “Mujeres de Acero”, and her next project was “Cimarrona”, which takes us to listen to rap fusions with Latin roots, with a strong feminist message, counting with diverse collaborations and also emphasizing the black heritage in diverse edges
Her most recent work is in the process of research to continue telling stories that cross us, dabbling in different black rhythms and appealing to the freedom of the body.
