Oralidades que sanan

Home Programs+COVID-19Oralidades que sanan

From MÁS we want to continue contributing to the well being of our community, That’s why we keep opening spaces to get informed, express ourselves, and take care of each other. To give continuity to our event MÁS Versadas we launch the challenge: Oralidades que sanan. Express yourself about COVID in which we invite everyone to participate in the dialogue we opened up with MÁS Versadas Sessions in all our platforms. We invited Dr Daniel Bustillos from the Washington University to join us with verified and true information about COVID-19 and now we challenge the community to react on his videos and to multiply the information using your own languages, comprehensions, experiences and rhythms.

From april 26th to may 20th you canparticipate on your social media networks; and express yourself singing, rapping, reciting, or some form of art that helps you multiply timely information for our communities in times of pandemic. The multipliers that meet the challenge requirements will be selected to participate on the open voting campaign by mid may and win a gift card: 100$ to the winner and 50$ to the second place.

Do you accept the challenge?

Express yourself about COVID

To create your video:

-Watch the videos of Doctor Bustillos and choose information that connects with you and your experience of the last 2 years.

React to the video you chose: The reactions are usually videos in which we can always see the original video along with the intervention that the authors make on it. You can use an editing program or app, Tik Tok or Instagram to create it and post it as a reel.

  • You can use Tik Tok or Instagram You can explain with simple words what the doctor has said, Talk about your experience, talk about your experience knowing or not knowing the information given, singing the doctor’s information, using the doctor as part of your song, in short, whatever you can think of that adds flow and can motivate others to listen to the information and become multipliers too.
  • Select a reaction mode (we suggest using the green screen located in the reel filters, but you must take into account the time limit in this mode, which is less than a normal reel; although you can record several with the same filter, download and re-upload them to put them together so you can reach a longer duration) And create your video.
  • Most of the Doctor’s videos are not available in reels to remix them, But you can watch them in all of our platforms. And since they have a long duration, you need to: record the video from the cell phone screen recording option or with your camera directly from the computer; or upload it from your cell phone and select the portion that interests you.
  • You can use the track that we provide you as a background beat. To use the background beat you can do it in playback mode using another device that allows you to record it in the background audio, or record it at the end using the voice-over recording function offered by the Instagram clip editor. But if you want to add music with an instrument you can And if you are going to use any commercial music, just remember to respect the rights of private authors that should not exceed 8 continuous seconds on the air.
  • When you finish recording, you can add stickers, text or any other functionality of the platform that allows you to better express your ideas.
