La Cumbia is one of the most popular modern traditional folk rhythms in Latin America. It is a very catchy musical genre that has its origin thanks to the African descendant communities in Colombia where it began as a resistance, expression and courtship through dance
Children from 7 to 12 years old will learn the basic steps of cumbia while forming a group choreography, some of them will be able to participate with percussion instruments. In addition to participating in cumbiero dance and rhythm, children will also benefit physically and socially by developing skills of expression, self-esteem, identity, rhythm, coordination, and flexibility.
Looking forward to and enjoy this contagious and joyful rhythm!
Dance is a bridge and a language to connect with diversity.
