We met Juanita, a Garífuna teacher who accompanied us during the journey of Conectándonos Más. She was one of us, a partner, and above all, an inspiration to us when we see her efforts to connect the new generations with their heritage, so they don’t lose their language, history, and traditions. In this video, we share with the world a brief take on the history of the Garifuna people Juanita told us when we connected with her.
