We are super happy and proud to have reached the completion and closing of the 3rd edition of our youth program Connectándonos MÁS. We want to celebrate this achievement by thanking everyone who made this space possible: the youths who completed the 14 sessions of the program, where we sowed seeds of affirmation of how valuable it is to connect through Afro-diasporic arts. To the families of these young people, who trusted the program as a safe space. To program coordination team, the facilitators and community artists who shared so much wisdom and power to help us achieve our goals. To the interpreters who allowed us to navigate 3 languages, to Union Cultural Centerwhich always opens its doors to us and makes us feel at home. To City of Seattle’s Department of Education and Early Learningwhich provided financial support through its Opportunity and Access grant.
Thanks to all of you, we were able to ¡Conectándonos MÁS!
