Our hearts are still overflowing with joy after our 10th anniversary event this past weekend. It was a powerful reminder of the strength, love, and healing power of our community and served as a beautiful reflection of our shared commitment to the spaces we have built together. The sounds of DJ Exesive carried us through the night on a wave of joy and memories. We danced to the rhythms of salsa with the sextet Buena Vibra and Bomba Puertorriqueña and Otoqui Reyes and Los Hijos de Agueybana. We ate delicious food with the flavors of Pam’s kitchen. We fulfilled our goal of bringing the MAS community together and celebrating who we are in a big way. We are very grateful to all the people who joined our celebration and helped make the event possible.
We still have a goal of moving MÁS Pa’lante to raise $20,000 and we invite you to support us by making a donation by following this link!
With your sustained support we can continue to activate our vision of creating spaces and collective liberation led and made by and for Black and Indigenous artists, dreamers and Latin American children in Seattle and beyond. You can also support us to move MÁS Pa’lante by making a recurring donation at our general donations link.
