El nuevo programa de MÁS para jóvenes Afrolatinos 2021
MÁS está muy emocionado de comenzar este año un programa para jóvenes.
‘Conectándonos MÁS’ es un programa que reunirá a jóvenes Afrolatinos/ Afroindígenas de 15 a 21 años de edad en el transcurso de 10 reuniones quincenales. Estos jóvenes participarán en seminarios sobre afrolatinidad, entrevistarán a artistas afrolatinos/afroindígenas locales, compondrán piezas expositivas que se publicarán en el sitio web de MÁS y crearán una obra de arte que explore su propia herencia cultural. El programa culminará con una celebración y exhibición de estas piezas. Los jóvenes también recibirán un estipendio por su participación y culminación del programa.

The new program for Afro-Latino youth of MÁS 2021
MÁS is super excited to start a youth program this year.
“Connecting Us More’ is a program that will connect Afro-Latinx/Afro-Indigenous youths from ages 15-21 over the course of 10 semi-monthly meetings. These youth will participate in seminars on Afro-Latinidad, interview locally-based Afro-Latinx/ Afro-Indigenous artists, compose expository pieces to be published on MAS’s website, and create an art piece that explores their own cultural heritage. The program will culminate in a celebration and exhibition of these pieces. Youth will also receive a stipend for their participation and culmination of the program.
