During this time, artists from the community will facilitate and share knowledge that strengthen us individually and collectively, allowing us to stay connected amidst the difficulties and struggles that characterize our current times and affect our Black, Indigenous, migrant, and diverse community. <\/p>\n<p>The gatherings will be monthly, free, and open to the whole family. Locations and activities will be announced in advance on our social media. <strong>The first gathering will take place on Saturday, August 29, from 12 to 2 pm at <a href=\"https:\/\/estelitaslibrary.org\/\">Estelita Library <\/a><\/strong>(in Beacon Hill). And we&#8217;ll have drinks and snacks available as an in-kind donation.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<strong>Creating Poetry with Our Stories:<\/strong> When no one tells our stories, we become invisible: mere past, cheap labor, or a simple curiosity for others. To resist and reclaim the wisdom within our experiences, <strong>come and spend \u201cA Little Time with M\u00c1S\u201d<\/strong>. Experiences with trauma at an early age fueled in me a pressing drive toward movement.
