Following our celebration, we also want to Celebrate the people who, with their work and vision, made the birth of MAS possible: <\/span>to<\/span>M\u00f3nica Rojas-Stewart<\/b> .<\/span><\/a> M\u00f3nica Rojas-Stewart and to all the people who were part of the<\/span>\u201c Black Diaspora Initiative<\/b> \u201d<\/span><\/a> The seed from which Movimiento Afrolatino Seattle was born: <\/span>Bayano Group<\/b><\/a> and <\/b>Los Hijos de Ag\u00fceybana<\/b><\/a> (AfroPuerto Rican dance group), <\/span>Fundaci\u00f3n International Capoeira Angola of Seattle<\/b><\/a> (FICA-Seattle, AfroBrazilian martial arts), <\/span>Seattle Fandango Project<\/b><\/a> (a community of Fandangueros in Seattle) <\/span>Hagucha Garinagu<\/b><\/a> (Ra\u00edces Gar\u00edfuna, music and dance group with members from Honduras and Guatemala),<\/span> All Cuban Folklore<\/b> (AfroCuban music and dance group) and<\/span> De Caj\u00f3n Project<\/b><\/a> (AfroPeruvian artistic organization) <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
