For the second consecutive year, we joined Catinga editions to bring to the M\u00c1S community the workshop \u201cmetresas, and imaginary dissidents to coloniality<\/a>Led by Johan Mijail, a group of twenty-one participants from different places of abya yala: writers, activists, artists, LGBTQ+ people, racialized people, and allies will reflect and create autobiographical texts proposing the \u201cI\u201d as a habitable place, from trans poetics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop consists of 5 virtual meetings in which they will review Afro-descendant and Caribbean worldviews, transvestism, \u201curban music\u201d, performance and anal poetics from a contrasexual perspective. As in 2023, the workshop will result in a corpus of writings that, like last year, will be compiled into a Fanzine that will be presented in a public – virtual reading in April. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
