One of our goals for this evening is to bring together as many people as possible to have fun and engage in a collective moment of gratitude and celebration of the work we have collectively achieved over the past 10 years. The event will open with a mingo activity to encourage people to connect, followed with an opening ceremony acknowledging ancestral land through the sound of the mother drum as it leads the drums from latinoamerica regions. We will then share dinner, community impact stories, Afrolatinxs art, and end dancing salsa together with Buena Vibra, a Seattle salsa band. <\/span><\/p>\n

We would also like to take the opportunity to encourage everyone to join us in the task of mobilizing resources to our organization and help us to achieve our goal of<\/span><\/b>$20.000.<\/strong><\/span> With your sustained support we can continue activating our vision to create spaces and collective liberation by and for Black and Indigenous artists, dreamers, and children of Latin America in Seattle and beyond. <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
