In this event we seek to merge art and health promotion, while centering the voices of artists as the axis to share messages about the importance of vaccination and to raise awareness and educate the Afro-Latino community about our traditions. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Artists from Venezuela, Panama, Mexico and Puerto Rico, participated sharing verses and tenths from their oral traditions, as well <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">included an interactive mini-workshop, where participants practiced collective creation with the guidance of an artist (in rooms for small groups) of verses, quatrains, couplets, seguidillas, related to COVID19, Mental Health and the Importance of Vaccines.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p>To continue we created <a href=\"https:\/\/movimientoafrolatino.org\/projects\/covid-19\/oralidades-que-sanan\/\">M\u00e1s versadas Sessions<\/a>. The theme of the verses is related to COVID-19, mental health or the importance of vaccinations and the protection of the AfroLatinx community.
